Weed control

Easy way to remove and prevent weeds from growing in cracks in the driveway (apart from weed killer which never works, and having a new driveway)...any household things that help?

Weedkiller that does work? Get the driveway/patio type and apply in the morning of a sunny dry day, bye bye weeds for a few months.

You need some roundup. Then once dead fill gaps with concrete.

I'm finding roundup to be totally rubbish, its not cheap either.

Weedol Max, brilliant stuff, kills them off a treat. You just have to pull up the dead weeds. Used this stuff on my garden last weekend.

White distilled vinegar, like what you would buy from Asda etc, put it in a squirty bottle and spray on them in the morning. Works a treat.

Just buy pure Glyphosate, easily purchased on big sites. We killed a whole jungle of weeds and growth in our new house. It takes around a week to work, but that was on a very weak dilution.

Purchased by the 5litres it will be a hundred times cheaper than buying fancy branded weedkiller.

Thats what we bought 1 litre from ebay for £10 mixed at the ratio they recommended it will work and last a while

I've started using Westland Resolva 24 hour concentrate weedkiller, & their Resolva Total Clear concentrate weedkiller, both been very good.

Just fill the gaps with mortar.
