Week break in Northumberland

Morning wonderful people :)

I'm heading to Northumberland to see my sister next week and I'm after suggestions on locations for photography.

I don't mind travelling and looking ideally after landscape options.

Suggestions?
 
Well I'll be in Bamburgh and I've seen on the map Bambugh Castle. I'm after landscapes as I want a chilled out holiday with a little walking.

Some great suggestions already, will do some research into travelling between base and the locations above!

I wont be there till next weekend, hopefully they'd of finished by then! That's a cracking shot mate, like that a lot!
 
I don't mind travelling to a location but would prefer to keep it to less than 1 hour in total. I can see myself going through a substantial about of fuel lol
 
I've seen on the map you can get a ferry to the islands but it only seems to be the smaller one. Can you get to the larger nature reserve?
