Week of Steam deals - Square Enix & Eidos Interactive

I think they base their deals on what I buy. I bought Deus Ex for £5.99 a few days ago because I fancied replaying it. Also, I picked up Toki Tori for £3.49 a few days before the sale aswell. Hardly great financial losses I know, but I feel hard done by all the same.

I've experienced this before as well.
Bought Stalker CoP + SoC in the past, just before they were in some sort of deal.

Toki Tori is awesome :D

There is an important philosophy with Steam that I have that helps avoid this. Never buy games that aren't on sale, seriously :)
 
Deus Ex is well worth 3 of your shiny golden coins.
Its one of the best games i have ever played and the ultramod makes it looks pretty nice, althought personally i find it playable fine the old looking way too.

I am looking forward with great hope to deus ex 3 this year, especially after warning the entire production office their existance would end in flames and shadow if the make it remotely like Invisible War.
 
Would definitely go for this deal...If I didn't already own all of the games :p even Invisible War's worth a look (just nowhere near as amazing as the original :D)
 
i only buy games from steam when they r on sale :P but i dont think ill be gettin any of these though, but thanks for the heads up
 
What's up with DX:IW on Windows 7 then? It's the only one of that little bunch that is not in my collection so it would be nice to have.

I wonder what else is going to be on sale this week - I've just earmarked £35 for Bad Company 2 on PC. It's either that or whatever else comes up during the sale... decisions, decisions.

Not sure what the problem is. I just get terrible lag whenever I play it on anything other than XP.

My bet is that Just Cause will be on sale at some point, probably to help gain attention to the series.
They don't have a lot of games available on Steam (25), so I reckon most, if not all, will be on sale at some point.
