Weekdays off

to solve the issue of midweek boredom (not that I get bored doing nothing) I have upped my Gym routine, went back to learning guitar, and I am now thinking of learning German or Spanish, as I still have a little time over.

or as a last resort I clean, I love cleaning, but only when the house is empty. Even better is a deep clean of one area, like a bedroom or kitchen area.

today I am truly having a day off, I am going to do nothing, and watch the remaining episodes of 'The Blacklist' in peace and quiet.

Sounds boring.

My weekends in off usually consist of playing games, watching some movies / tv shows / anime. Then it dawns on me sunday night, i have to get up early tomorrow and go back to work :(

Work is usually the only socialising i do if you can call it that. Does get tiresome talking to people all day though (call centre) when i really don't care about their problems (or should i say whining about nothing trying to get money off their bills)

Im a manager in a call centre and im pretty much the same. Weekdays is work - then straight home, dinner, gaming, bed. I enjoy my week though as im a bit of a recluse.

Then weekends its a mix of gaming/movies/tv shows until Sunday when I realise its back to work lol

Boring people get bored.

Anytime I have a day off during the week - I always clean! Wake up early and hoover/mop floors etc until about 11/12 and then I feel refreshed.

Then after that If I have shopping to do - will get that out of the way as the shopping centres are quieter. Aside from that....sit at the computer drinking coffee all day :)

I can not understand people who say they get bored.
In my spare time I like to do the following.
read,
research things that interest me,
I am also currently trying to learn a coding language,
cooking, and those are just off top of my currently cold head.

I also don't get bored, even on my days off I normally have/find things to day.

If I take a week day off It's probably I've assignment work to get done, otherwise I'll catch up on some gaming, do some video editing or something.

Boring people get bored.

I love that saying because its so true,

I am currently on a contract (6 months min) that requires I work nights (3/week) I have most weekdays off, with most of the work at the weekend,

boring people get bored. ;)

totally agree with you!

on my days off during week, if i am not abroad, i am out taking pics, going to the gym, coding on a new project, playing video games, socialising with friends during the evenings, etc etc etc.

List goes on.

I'm in my final year on placement so occasionally I'll get a whole week day off. Generally just do the stuff which is hard during the weekend. That and revision.
