Weekend away - Friday to Sunday - Harwich to Hook of Holland or...

I need a break, want to go on the bike somewhere, travel Friday have a bit of a ride out, chill over night Saturday and head back Sunday.

So my initial thought was Harwich to HOH and boot it thru Holland for a blast...

Any other routes suggested for a decent ride out abroad?

Anyone wanting to go for a blast come along BTW!

Depends if you're wanting to go for a bike ride on great roads or a sight seeing tour I guess.

You could make Luxembourg / Ardennes / Mosel area in about 3 or 4 hours of motorway slog. Then you're into fantastic biking roads - Maybe take in the 'ring? Or If you're interested in WW1 then Belgium has plenty to see but fairly dull riding: Tyne Cot, Hill 62, Menin Gate etc. Ypres or Bruges is lovely to just sit and spend a few hours in a cafe.

Tour de France starts at the weekend in Holland - go and see a stage of that!
