thinking of taking my fiancee away for the weekend to london, nice hotel, maybe a show etc.

not sure where to start really.

wanting 4 - 5 star hotel for a sat and sun night.

any suggestions or inputs for where to stay, maybe a restaraunt best places to book a show?

thanks.

hmm, ok maybe not 4-5 star, looking at them prices our 4 star hotel in time square NY was cheaper per night.

maybe max 150 per night.

Go on lastminute.com & click on "top secret hotels". If you copy and paste the description into Google, they're suddenly not so secret. :p

There's some good deals to be had and should be able to find something 4-star in your price range.

We stayed in one place on Trafalger Square.

Can't remember the name but was very very nice for a treat and naturally close to LS/CG.

my google skills must suck, but this is a 5 star for 150 a night.

lastminute.com for show tickets. Usually some good deals on there.

I recommend Wicked, The Lion King, and just for the lass Dirty Dancing (though it's not bad for the fellas either.. lots of young, tight bodied women wearing skin-tight attire dancing on stage..)

I went away with the missus to London last October and we stayed at the Millenium Hotel in Knightsbridge, its just down the road from harvey Nicks and they only cost £160 a night.

I know they do deals, if your staying more than one night. ;)

+1

Myself and the missus have got some stonking deals doing this.

I suggest Billy Elliott, Jersey Boy or Disney's Lion King tickets if there are any kids involved!
There is also s landmark exhibition focusing on Edgar Degas’s preoccupation with movement as an artist of the dance at the royal academy of arts. Enjoy
