Weekend city break recommendations

I'm looking at taking the mrs away for a short weekend in November. We'll be going without the kids, so we're very restricted time-wise. It will only be for 2 nights, so I don't want to be flying for more than 2 hours from Gatwick/Heathrow, otherwise that just eats into what little time we have away.

I also don't want to go anywhere where there's lots to see/do (as we'd save that for another trip when we have more time), so that rules out places like Paris, Rome, Barcelona etc.

We've been to Ljubljana, Verona and Budapest before, so those are ruled out.

Any recommendations? Possible options so far are Amsterdam, Oslo and Prague.

I'm not saying we don't want to see anything (and hey, what's wrong with Horsham? :D). What I meant was I'd rather go somewhere smaller where we could see the majority of the city, rather than only see <50% of a larger city and be forced to either miss the rest, or go back.

Thanks for all the feedback folks.

- Vienna looks great, wouldn't have considered that previously so that's definitely on the shortlist.
- Porto, Valencia, Dusseldorf and Munich don't really inspire me. Not sure why, they just don't feel like my cup of tea
- Krakow and Bratislava we've already been to
- Bruges is definitely one to visit in future, but it takes a bit too long to get there
- Florence is another one for the future for sure, but we'd like to combine that with a few other spots in Italy and spend a week or two there
