Owned.

Will be surprised and happy if Arsenal get a point at the weekend, Liverpool seem to play in a way which ensures victory over Arsenal. Dunno how it happens

Well it is a very important game for Liverpool, what with it being the first game of their season, the 4th "this is where our season starts" crap from Benitez. The problem being the players might actually get themselves up for this game and with our current form not being the best either its really impossible to know which team will step up.

Though so far Liverpool and Arsenal have barely turned up against the top teams, with a few more big wins against the bottom teams for Arsenal, two completely inconsistant teams who you never can really tell how they'll perform on any given game.

Though you do ponder exactly at what point the Liverpool players will simply give up all hope hearing the exact same rallying call from Benitez thats obviously desparation and doesn't mean anything.

Fairly big weekend in terms of table moving and confidence, City and spurs have Bolton and Wolves, assuming both win their games City go level with us, Spurs go ahead, if Liverpool win they are only a point or two behind us. I can't see Liverpool doing well for the rest of the season but if Spurs and City get their noses level/ahead of us the confidence they might take from that could really make it very difficult to claw them back, specially with a ridiculously tough Jan/Feb to come in terms of who we face and ludicrous number of games.

I reckon Liverpool will win this just because this is the type of game their places can normally be arsed to get up for. a draw would do for me.

I always enjoy the United Villa matches, hopefully that continues this weekend.

Liverpool fans shouldn't worry if they lose because they'll be able to start their new season next weekend. It's quite a refreshing concept. :p

Sick of waiting for you to do it you little arse!! :p

Arsenal to beat Liverpool 2-1 on Sunday. :D

I think the thread is much better than usual and think you should continue your good work every thursday. ;)

With the actual football I am hoping Liverpool will delay their kickoff of the season and treat sunday as a friendly so we can win.

Its a bit worrying for the future of Arsenal with our height issues across the team. This was even more worrying when our second string team came out for the CL game. It was like 9 dwarves and a CB.

I dont think its any fluke that we did so well when we had two big guys in the middle with Veira and Petit. I hope this gets addressed in the January/Summer. I doubt it will though.

I wonder how long it will be before DM, copies and pastes (from Football365) his Arsenal loosing to all the top half teams stats, how Fulham have only just moved up in the top half, so when we beat them you can't count them.

Im still shocked he never slagged off Diaby, Song or Denilson in his last post
