Big game for Wolves this weekend! I am a bit worried about the outrage if we don't beat Burnley because of Tuesdays team!

Newcastle v Middlesbrough is on BBC One if anyone is interested!

Man U lost this fixture last season didn't they? Wasn't it that one where Rooney got sent off for returning the ball for a free kick? :o :p

Dreading it, Fulham are a real bogey team for us, and it looks like Carrick and/or Fletcher in defence. I'm just hoping Fulham have a poor game against us and we can outscore them.

Spot on (after Scholes was sent off in the 18th minute - so down to 9 men at the end)

(no disrespect meant) but glad Murphy is out - as mentioned in another thread being ex Liverpool he seems to save himself for Utd games and usually plays a blinder - still VERY concerned about tomorrow's game though

I read somewhere that game last season was the 1st we had lost there for a long time but it still feels like a horrible place to go , dreading it

I've not seen anything of Blackburn this season to pass comment on a Spurs win. Some away points would be welcome just before the busy period. Might see the return od Modric.

If Keane doesn't play Saturday then the writing's on the wall for him.

Yeah it was, Rooney 'returned' the ball, you could say I guess :p. Zamora will give whoever is the makeshift centreback a hard time (well I hope so!).

Was already 1-0 by the time Scholes was sent off, he stopped a definite goal by Zamora.

Murphy should play, but not sure whether he'll oust Greening/Baird from their starting roles I don't know, he played 90 minutes on Wednesday. We could also have AJ back on the bench, but not sure on that.

Probably gonna be Schwarzer, Pantsil, Konchesky, Hangeland, Hughes, Duff, Dempsey, Baird, Greening, Zamora and Nevland at a guess.

Vilal 2-0 Stoke - Downing and Gabby Agbonlahor to exorcise the ghosts of last season's lamentable draw at home when our fall from the Champion's League places began in earnest.

I think Weds will turn it around though. I hope so at least, they're the much better half of Sheffield!

I'm hoping we can get 3 points against Preston - I imagine Billy Davies and McKenna will be fairly fired up. It'd be nice to put on a performance for the cameras and put more pressure on the Baggies. There's a nagging feeling however; could have 1-1 all over it!

Reina
Johnson
Insua
Agger
Carragher
Mascherano
Lucas
Kuyt
Dossena
Gerrard
Torres

Subs: Cavalieri, Aurelio, Benayoun, Babel, Ngog, Spearing, Skrtel

Only two defenders on the bench!!! Having said that we've only got 2/3 attacking players on the pitch away to the lowest team in the league :(
