We need to go back to basics on defending, utterly useless, back 4 can't defend and we can't defend as a team.
No hart, no character. This summer needs a clear out of the rubbish and some experience brought in. A season without many injuries wouldn't go amiss either.

Thought we were a lot better after the first two goals though we did switch off for a period in the second half.
Arsenal are good going forward and with a top finisher easily would have bagged a couple more goals though their defence is shocking.

What a poor ending to the season. Arsenal need to desperately sort out two things: Their finish and their defense. The passing and midfield are lovely but it's not enough against the other big clubs.
Here's to a better 09/10 season and hoping we don't embarass ourselves in the Emirates Cup.

Well, that wasn't much fun. Credit to Chelsea, you take your chances, you're going to get a victory. They looked much faster and ready in all departments. I'm hoping Fabianski has finished being mediocre and can put all this behind him.
It's been pretty crap this season having lots of possession and trying to play around our opposition. There are only around 8 teams that can be done against and they're all in the bottom half of the table. You can't do it against your competitors unless the players are at least equals.

not sure what to make of that really. i do actually feel a bit sorry for wenger, was probably the best result for us as arsenal are no longer fighting for 3rd place but the players shouldn't like a result like that and should try for a big performance in the next match to make up for it. i can see them taking at least a point off us.
