** Weekend Football Thread **

Man U haven't been all over dominant, but still good, City had plenty of the ball but really did smeg all with it. Elano is the biggest waster of the ball in the world, runs for 30 seconds rather than simply pass it. delays passes so the forwards can't break on the back four, wasted all the freekicks/corners, just terrible tbh.

But the worst thing about the game was when they showed the teams for the Arsenal game, silvestre in defence, Diaby, Song, Nasri, Theo in midfield, with Fabregas possibly as a withdrawn striker and RVP upfront on his own. Goes from bad to worse. Theo the utterly hopeless winger, rather than play him upfront where he's good. Fabregas is great defensively as he gets the ball, calms it down, turns out of trouble, starts quick attacks is pushed forwards where he'll barely get the ball and have no influence. Nasri, an actual winger we have pushed infield. Song and Diaby both hopelessly poor in the team at all is a travesty.

Despite a great performance last week from Vela, Arshavin, Bendtner, all out of the team. What the hell is wrong with him, we've got smeg all to play for but pride so we've sent out almost the worst team possible against a very good Chelsea side. Whats the point. 6 points down on Chelsea, our ONLY chance is a win, and really a massive win today to get into third, so we send out that team. Wenger may aswell have done an interview with the press telling Arsenal fans not to bother thinking about 3rd and not even bother watching. Thats the way to finish the season and really encourage no one to want to come to the club and to persuade RVP and others to want to move, give up in the last 3 games completely.

Two good league games out of 35?

Do me a favor, He wasnt dropped for our biggest games of the season in CL Semi's for no reason you know.
 
Just read that Hiddink has taken 25/30 points since taking charge of Chelsea. Very Impressive

I prefer him to Mourinho tbh and would love to see him stay on.

Shame its not going to happen.

He was rested, because Fergie's not an idiot, it was one of your easiest games of the year. Keep in mind the first leg, could and really should have been 4-0 with ease, the 2nd leg, you came to supposedly one of the hardest places to play and thrashed us 3-1, and that 1 was lucky and the 3 being that low was lucky. he was rested.

he's had loads of great games this year, he WAS the reason you won against Spurs, he started off almost every attack and played Rooney/Ronaldo in behind the defence with ease, that was probably his finest game of the year as he was simply superb.

Strong line ups from both Arsenal and Chelsea, Can't understand why mr Arse is playing 5 midfielders at home, pants boy and Ade should have being on ?
