I fancy one, either alone for a chance to grow up a little, experience a foreign country by myself to relax and maybe learn something new i.e. skiing.

Or even somewhere to take the gf, not too sure.

I really want to get away, leave Friday, and arrive home Sunday/Monday...

Somewhere like the Alps, of somewhere in the south of France it has to be France or somewhere in Italy... I really want to have some free time to myself, no one there, chance to get away on my own and relax, go walking, take some photos, learn something etc...

Anyone got any ideas?

James.

You might struggle to learn skiing in a weekend and normally the first days aren't as fun for beginners anyway.

Definitely ski if you get the chance in the future, but go for a week.

Well i wouldnt mind doing something, snow boarding wouldnt be too much of a challenge as im not too bad on the skateboards and ive done enough snow boarding with old road signs n that around the hills in the outskirts of Bradford.

I want to go somewhere but i dont know where, places with stunning views etc, quite nice and quiet and out of the way, high up in the snow..

Anyone know any hotels or cabins etc..

edit: Google found this for you.... bargain-tastic!

Wow!

That looks amazing, as i dont drive i dont think ill be able to hire, even if i pass my test by then you need years experience to get car rental dont you?

Thats a brilliant deal, i may go there over easter as i get 2 days off over that weekend so i get 4 days off overall which means a long weekend away in france would be amazing! Probably take the gf there aswell..

Planes wont be too expensive will they? Even Nat express wont be expensive and i wouldnt mind coaching it to be honest as i recon it would be amazing to drive through the mountains on a coach and check out the views..
