Weekly offer

Yep it has all around decent components, but obviously costs a touch more because it's built for you.

4870 x 2 only if you're playing at high resolutions, else it's kinda overkill.

I wouldn't be confident building one myself, i would have a big fear of plugging it all together in "probably" the right places and turning it on to get blue screens galore and sparks etc so i need it pre built I reckon!

Pretty much says it all really.

Sparks? I Lol'd :D

Buy it then ;)

I may buy it on Sunday or Monday, hope the offer holds out a bit longer or I wont be buying it! Sometimes some of the offers repeat a fair bit which can be annoying when you see a spec you like but is never reduced!

This Week Only runs Wednesday to Wednesday. Give 'em a ring if you want a specific spec; they can do requests.

That is a lovely, lovely system.

If you have the time to spend, build it yourself. Its a much better feeling. It will take a long time to learn how everything goes together properly, and longer to get it up to 3.4ghz by yourself, but it's worth it :)

I'm not so sure....I'd rather just be playing games on it or listening to music rather than arsing about (although I do realise what I have just said will probably be considered quite treasonous on this forum!) :D

How very dare you! Only kidding, hehe. But in all seriousness it is up to you. But as has been said, you really can't beat that feeling :D

Its true that its great to put a system together yourself but can have its problems. First time I built my own system I got everything and was quite confident, put everything on the mobo, came to put the mobo in the case... too big! Id got an ATX mobo and only micro ATX case haha.

If you dont feel confident, buying a pre built system is definately a lot easier for you. That looks like a good system too, will be money well spent :) Like people have said, the 4870 x2 will be super powerful!! If you dont mind paying, go for it, but most games would run fine with a normal 4870. Id put a bit of money into a better case. Spending over £1000 on a pc and putting it into a £35 case seems a bit odd, get an Antec out of those on the drop down, or you could get in touch and see if they'd put it in a Lian-Li case to make it extra nice :)

Aye I saw the Antec 900 and the blue lights are appealing! I'm not particularly concerned if its better cooling or whathaveyou....it has blue lights! Thats enough convincing really!

you would be suprised how good that £35 case is for the money, but I agree that if you're spending £1000 then a high quality case would be a good idea.

Yea, i know the coolermaster is mentioned a lot on these forums as a great budget case. But Id still pick an Antec or Lian-li over it anyday haha. Especially if I was spending this much on a new PC

Personally I think that anyone who pays a i7 setup at the moment is a bit (well lot) retarded. Go for a self build Phenom II triple core (the 720?) clock that to 3.5Ghz add 4GB of RAM and a 120GB SSD drive, add a decent GPU and I think you'd be looking at less than £600 and it'll kick that system's bottom on most tasks that you want the performance for (booting up, quick app loading etc).

That i7 setup of course rocks, but performance per pound it's still a ripoff IMO
