I'm guessing with the dollar being so terrible for us, OcUK can't get as many deals from the suppliers, so can't make as many reductions.

You missed all the discussions last month ... they decided to scrap weekly offers and have a rolling set of special prices introduced daily (latest deals column on main OcUK page) ... but after lots of people complained saying that they liked the excitement of waiting for "this weeks offers" then OcUK decided to relent and bring it back which still running the latest deals as well.
Personally I think what we've got now is the best of both worlds ... lots of good offers coming through the "latest deals" and a small number of special offers each week. With the way "this weeks offers" had been going I wondered if it was approaching a stage where it would be shorted to list the items not on special offer
