Ah, I see what you mean. Though, while it may not be obvious from just observing, at least two of those points will be selected because they're at or close to the MPE changeover point, rather than just within the ranges. It's perhaps a fine point, but quite an important one if the test is to achieve what it's supposed to. If the points were all selected mid-range, for instance, you'd be less likely to detect errors, because the most likely place for an out-of-tolerance error is close the next changeover, that being where the test load is close to max for a given MPE.
 
It's at the TSO's discretion. We're based in Leiceste, yet we use Northampton Trading Standards as Leicester TSO's are woeful and know very little. All they want to do is catch DVD pirates as it involves no weights!
