Just a quick couple of questions...

Im currently doing a program at home to lose body fat.

im 6 weeks into the program and i think i need more weights. I've been told that you should only just about to be able to do the required about of reps eg: if it says 10 reps you shouldnt be able to do 12-13 or your not lifting enough.

my question is how much should you be able to lift and for how many reps?

ive heard people say if you can bench your own weight your doing ok and i have found a little table sort of explaining what you should be able to lift but not how many reps.

i can bench my own weight (80kg)in gym conditions with someone spotting me 3-4 times (i wouldnt dare do that at home on my own). i can deadlift 90kg (all my weights aside from the silly 0.5-1kg) for 12 reps easy.

Also what is the best whey protein to use? Again ive been told to stay away from holland and barret stuff as it has a lot of fillers innit and should get good stuff.

again im not looking to get huge just help develop lean muscle.
