Weird Afterburner OC issue!

Hi, i have been using the latest Afterburner since release. My stock settings on my Gigabyte 7970 are 1000/1375 and i have saved an OC of 1150/1650 in Afterburner.
All has been fine and i can see what my OC is by using the overdisplay in Afterburner, whats wierd is today after applying the OC for BF3 or Farcry 3 the display said 1000/1375 my stock settings
Thats when i tried Farcry 3 and the same, i even redone the OC and saved again but the same results.
So rebooted tried with CCC, but the same in the overlay
CCC and AFterburner both accepted the OC just displayed it as stock and the overlay wasn't frozen because it displayed the change from 2d clocks to 3d.
So as a last resort i uninstalled and reinstalled and now it's fine displays 1150/1650.
anyone else heard of this?

Did you do the cfig folder changes to unlock afterburner or?

If your're using Afterburner don't touch CCC.

Did you follow Matt's guide?

Hi thanks for the replies no i dont unlock the voltage it has been fine then changed, i have read Matts guide before its not to do with that but thanks, it seems ok now.
