I have a Samsung 3d LED smart tv (forgot the model) and having some annoying problem when it is plugged into my PC
For some strange reason it started rarely when people flicked a light switch in the house the TV would lose signal for a second and go black then the signal would come back.
This would happen like once every 30+ times a switch was pressed, but recently it is happening more often. like 1 in every 4 or 5x someone does a light switch in the house it does this and recently it seems to do it randomly even when nobody else is in to do a switch. Also if you press in the ignition button on the cooker so it clicks it loses signal and stays off until you let go of the button hahah
This doesnt happen when I am on normal TV or PS3 etc only when plugged into PC via HDMI. If I plug my pc into my normal monitors though this doesnt happen.
I checked online and people mention dodgy unshielded wiring in the house. I got an electrician in and he said the wires are fine and the problem was with my extension lead. Plugged it directly into the wall and it stopped while he was there then gradually started again. Tried a different power wire, same thing.
Anyone have any ideas on this? Other than trying a new hdmi wire I have no idea what it could be and it is annoying when trying to watch something!
