I've got a 450D with a Phottix battery grip, which up until yesterday has worked flawlessly.
Now every time I turn it on, it automatically takes a shot then all the buttons on the camera are disabled (no error messages on screen though - just looks normal).
If I take the grip off and turn the camera on without it, it works fine, so it's obviously a problem with the grip.
I've tried different battery packs (official Canon batteries, rechargeable AAs and normal AAs), but the problem's the same. The contacts on the grip/camera don't look to be damaged at all, so I can't think of anything else it could be...
Ideas?
