Weird bios message

hey all,

i've jsut booted up my pc and logged in after a strange message came up, but before that i booted up ma pc and everything seemed okay apart from the monitor wasnt displaying anything.. the little light that's usually green was orange for idle. So i rebooted and the bios came up and it said something like:

PC is now in safe mode
CPU Clockspeed resetting

something something

anyway is it cause i rebooted while it was scanning all the other stuff or something?

I've never overclocked my cpu before..

sounds like it has reset some values in ure bios to default mate. check if everything is how it seemed before.

check temps to see that it is not running hot, if it is then think about reseating the cooler.

otherwise i would run prime95 to check stability and memtest to check ram.
