Evening all,

Just made the leap from my old 4690k to a nice new ryzen 3600 (specs below) but run into a weird booting problem.

Now the problem itself is the pc when first put together booted up, set up memory as DOCP in line with specs installed windows and happy days......until i tried to turn it on again :(.

Now when i turn it on it just hangs, no post, no display nothing. Just sits there with an orange light on the Mobo (manual says that means RAM) fans spinning etc. but no life beyond that. Now, if i flick the power off at the wall or on the PSU and then start it it starts as normal and gets to windows just fine. When running all is fine, no stability issues, stress tested etc and all fine.

Specifications
Mobo: Asus B450-F Gaming STRIX
RAM: 16 GB 3600mhz Team Group TUF Gaming
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: AMD 5600XT (worked fine in old build)
PSU: Superflower 550W Gold (worked fine in old build)

Things I've done/checked:

- BIOS up to date, I flashed it as soon as i got it with latest BIOS to allow ryzen 3 support.
- Updated Chipset drivers etc.
- checked all power cables etc far more times than I'd like.
- re-seated RAM
- RAM in different sockets (sockets 2 and 4 for my board i believe)
- 1 stick of RAM
- played with a number of different memory settings (DOCP, left at auto, manually set speeds).
- re- connected connectors (in particular front panel ones as not sure i had them right fist time)
- cleared CMOS with the old jumper thing (didn't go as far as pulling the battery out though)

Little bit baffled here guys, any ideas before i pull it apart and start sending stuff back?

Cheers!
