weird BSOD need help fast

ok comp is working fine using it now but when i try to install my graphics driver for my 4870 i get a BSOD then the comp restarts any ideas anyone.

for to say i just did a fresh install or XP pro to a new bigger HDD now i have this problem

have you got all updates from windows for xp?
doesnt net framework have to be installed first?

thanx yeah i kinda figured it out myself in the end updated the whole system first. against my better judgement ran driver sweep and deleted everything ATI related then tried a re-install of CCC and it worked first time.

pain in the bum but oh well.
whens new catalyst 9.12 coming
