Looking for a bit of advice since I'm totally lost when it comes to cars, especially if its under the bonet. Weird thing happened today - I took my usual route visiting my mum over some of the worlds most horrible speed bumps, you've literally got to do about 2mph over it or you'll rip the wheels off (slightly exagerating maybe 
) anyway the car spluttered, and a light illuminated on the dash, picture of a car with a spanner through it, I pulled over and turned the engine off and on - pulled away again and it went off and has been off since. Can anyone give me any idea as to what might be wrong? it's a 54plate corsa C.
From a quick google it seems to be engine electronics related?
