Hi All,

Just something I've noticed whilst on the phone and having CPU-Z open, my core clock speed and QPI link keeps fluctuation into very high numbers which I've not seen before.

My Spec:

MSI Big Bang X Power II
Intel 3820 @ Stock

It's currenly sitting at stock as my BIOS went weird when I enabled MSI fast boot so had to remove the battery which removed the overclock @ 4.3ghz, so is now 3.6ghz.

Now, some screenshots to explain, I'm playing Runescape to speak to some friends so the chip isn't stressed or idling really:

^ Seems very odd to me, it would normally sit at 4.3ghz before and now is fluctuating like mad! Going to stress test now and see what it runs at.

Temps are fine btw, sitting at 21 degrees under water.

yeah somethings borked, most likely the cmos, reflashing should cure it

sometimes a cmos clear doesn't idk why

or you are the first person to have a 9ghz and 11.4ghz overclock ! you Have now achieved godly status, without even using LN2 ! I bow to you master :D

My room was that cold this morning, it probably would have been more effective that LN2! 11.4ghz stable on prime it was at a stable 21 degrees aha! - Without reflashing and a reboot, it seems to be OK.

However I will see if it continues again, I do think my BIOS needs a re-flash/defaults as I rushed the other day, will update if it happens again.
