Hey all,

Basically I got my PC back from shop this week (faulty mobo, see thread in general hardware) And it's all up and running beautifully and quietly.

However I am running HW Monitor PRO and have the CPU clocked at 4.5GHz.

When running blend on Prime 95 or any other benchmark (Cinebench, Heaven benchmark) the voltages are really stable, 1.34v on full load, perhaps the occasional 1.35v

When idle on the otherhand it sits at a poultry 1.06v, and musters about there, then suddenly I get a half second spike upto 1.4v

(I know it steps down when idle)

Is this normal? Is the CPU volts "streching its legs" or is this a concern.

If so can this be altered on a P8P67-M PRO.

NOTE: Multiplier Upped to x45, everything else auto.

Thanks :)

As far as I know all P67 board's over Volt on auto just in case you have a poor chip.
Set it to a manual Voltage if you don't like the idea of running more volts than you need too.
