Weird cpu-z readings - i7 920

Hi there,

Running cpu z on my i7 rig shows some funny things. first of all it's the old c0 stepping ver. The core speed keeps fluctuating as does the multiplier and qpi link value.

These figures should remain static right and not jump around???

Please don't tell me i've got a duff cpu or mobo.

any ideas/help most welcome!!
