Weird crashing problem

Hey all, just upgraded to this spec:

A64 3200+
Asus K8N5X mobo
1GB Geil Value RAM
ATi Radeon x1800xt

Getting random freezes in windows which require a reset to fix, cpu temps are around 40-46 degrees, motherboard temperatures 35-36. Any ideas why this could be happening? It's literally a fresh install...

Yup. memtest showed no errors.

I had this problem on a similar but slightly older setup.

I ran memtest on my ram too and it seemed to be ok however the pc still kept crashing. I physically reinstalled the RAM making sure that the ram slots of were clean of any debris and the problem went away, however there are many threads dotted around the internet on this problem and solutions ranged from changing network drivers (iirc a certain marvell driver version caused the problem) to IRQ problems, soundcard problems and even PSU problems.
