Ok, I can't figure this out...

Doing the CPU benchmark at low detail, high physics, at different clockspeeds.

CPU @ 2200mhz, RAM @ 733mhz 4-5-5-12 2T - 33/59/92 (min/ave/max)

CPU @ 2700mhz, RAM @ 900mhz 4-5-5-12 2T - 24/73/121 (min/ave/max)

How can the min FPS be so much lower at lower cpu and ram speed?

I've ran both several times and got the same result.

Much higher speeds = -9 min fps, +14 average, +29 max.

:confused::confused::confused:

Ok, just tried it at 2.5 and 2.6ghz to see when the drop occurs.

CPU 2.5ghz, RAM 830mhz - 38/65/103
CPU 2.6ghz, RAM 865mhz - 25/69/111

So it occurs between 2.5 and 2.6ghz. Hmm.

So an unstable overclock can result in a stable system in which games don't crash, but can affect things like minimum FPS?
