Weird Ctrl Alt Delete Problem

Basically, pressing control alt delete won't bring up the task manager program, any idea why? :S Recently formatted and I think i've only just noticed it. Very odd, anything to do with Kaspersky internet security at all? That's new... All I can think it is.

does anything come up?

try ctrl + shift + escape, that's the way to open it on home & corporate windows

run the program 'hijackthis' no spaces..

should tell you if there are any regtweaks enabled to disable things..

if that fails, use this maybe..

Hmmm, is task manager an exe in any of the Windows folders? Perhaps I can actually see if it's there. The 'hijackthis' thing, did nothing, unless you meant I should google it, hehe.

Might give that last resort thing a go that makes back ups of task manager etc.

Right click the taskbar, and select 'Task Manager' - see if it opens from there.

Doesn't solve why Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't work though!

Not sure what to suggest on that...

Nope, it did solve it, pressing contorl alt delete just minimized it where I couldn't see it and now turned off the option to minimise, so ctrl alt delete now works
