Weird database/PHP question

In the summer I would like to put some pages on my site listing the players, their skill levels and stats from the various forms of cricket from the Battrick game.

What I would like to do is every week update say an Access database file on my PC with the players' changed stats and any skill changes and then translate that database into pages on my site. Is this possible and if so how would I go about doing it?

Is it all possible to get a PHP database site to take data from a database file held on my PC?

Thanks for any responses and help. :) If you need more info to clarify things please ask. :)

Whoa! Forgot about this thread. :D I just got the thread notification in my inbox and didn't even realise I started this thread. :p

I REALLY need to start to learn PHP/SQL. The good thing is that I'm still on Battrick. :) What's your team? I've been thinking about starting a movie database project to ease me into PHP/SQL. I currently use EMDB and I fancy making my off-line database that would store all my DVDs/Blu-rays in.

I'm known as MarcLister on Battrick. Imaginative name eh! :p:D Team is Commentator's Curse. I'm getting on pretty well. I decided that after losing the first FC game and drawing the second this season that I couldn't afford the PFL hits from putting out a full team for FC, OD and BT20. Weirdly I do better in FC according to AtStumps but I prefer OD. So I've been putting out my crap reserves team for FC so that I have a fully fit team for OD and BT20. That plan worked for a week or two until I lost 2 of the 3 BT20 fixtures in a week and went from 1st in my BT20 league to 4th. :(

Perhaps the three of us should get together on MSN or something and try to develop a database like the one I envisaged two flipping years ago?

Thanks. That's Matthew Weller, my spinner. A few seasons ago I decided to bump up his consistency as there were thoughts in the Battrick world that a spinner with a consistency higher than his bowling was better than a spinner with lower consistency compared to his bowling. Weller's bowling is only exceptional but has elite consistency.

Are you on MSN? If so, add me, if not I'll message you on Battrick. :)

Do you use AtStumps? ;)
