Hi guys, I read more than I post, luckily for you!

I have a strange problem in that if I use two sticks of memory (in dual channel or not) in my machine I begin to experience problems when restarting my computer or powering it up too soon after turning it off.

The computer will just not show display and does not seem to post. The graphics card fan will just stay on full power if I am powering on and the system does not get anywhere.

Using one stick of RAM gets rid of this problem, it doesn't matter which stick I use, that's what is strange to me about this.

It's not really too big a deal but just annoying and I'll probably just get some more memory now I'm on 64 bit and see if that gets rid of the problem.

Any ideas or comparable experiences?

Cheers.

The two have never worked properly together so maybe that is the issue,

The board is a Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLi and the memory according to my overclockers order was:

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency Dual Channel

Cheers for your time.
