Weird GPU and CPU usage, where is the bottleneck?

Thats my next job, i'll clean the pins on the CPU and check for any bent ones. hopefully its something simple like that.

in both boards, two sticks work at default speeds. in the ATX board, 4 sticks work at default speeds. in both boards, the ram only works faster with one stick.

Thanks

You should be able to get 2 sticks working near rated speed on one board at least.

You mentioned getting another cpu that's would be good to test and could always return it within 14 days.

cleaned all the pins and the socket with IPA, still no change. nothing but 2133Mhz with 2 sticks.

The CPU is still under warranty, My friend bought from OCUK, but is this a CPU problem?

What speeds was the memory running at on the b460 tomhawk and was all working fine ?

Well im now wondering if it was ever working fine. When i first tested it, it didnt occur to me to check the ram speed.

During recent testing, there has been some occasions where the frame rate was sort of where i thought it should be. I only played for a few minutes at that stage so i dont have any meaningful measurements, just a feeling that it used to be quicker.

Either way, there is nothing that can seemingly be done now to run the ram at the proper speed, or anything other than 2333. Two motherboards, 3 pairs of ram sticks, two power supplies... there is only one common item and thats the cpu.

Would agree.
