Weird graphics issue

Hi all.

A weird problem here.

Played bc2 for a long time with all my settings on high including anti aliasing.

Now suddenly the game looks lalalala and AA is limited to 1x in the menu and although everything else is set to high it looks more like low or medium, as if the menu is lying to me.

The wierd thing is I am on the latest drivers for my video card and I can get everything to lookk great including full AA if I reinstall the driver and reboot, but after the next reboot it will look crap again. This is very wierd and its annoying that my game looks so awful. Have reinstalled the driver and used driversweeper but its still the same. Black ops looks great btw.

Any thoughts.

Sounds like maybe a corrupt driver that isn't part of a installation package but a system driver. I think you may need to reinstall windows which is what I would do. Are all your games ands and important stuff saved on a separate hard drive?

I was afraid of this. I hate reinstalling windows, not because of games etc, they are all backed up but mostly because of the little things that take days to get just right on a system. You know, all you options and video codecs, browser settings, driver updates etc

Still hoping to find an answer before it comes to that though.
