Weird interferance issue

Hi all,

We have an old Panasonic Cordless phone - if it is plugged anywhere in the house it causes the tv picture to go bad......

So we thought today we would go and buy a new one - it does exactly the same. As soon as the base station was plugged into wall (no batteries in handset even) interference on tv.....

Any ideas?

Your TV coax is probably substandard and letting interference, afterall cordless phones are radio based.

It might be as simple as a faulty plug on the antenna cable, or it could be the cable in the walls etc. (Im assuming you use a proper roof antenna)

With decent coax (satallite coax is ideal for terresrial TV as well) there should be no interference.

Its a shared system - i live in a house but its also part of flats.....

Dont think I really can change the internal wiring
