Weird Issue - Tapping Sound

I'm getting a weird issue where I can hear a distortion through my headphones, it sounds like a tapping sound. It just seems to appear randomly, and if I reboot then it goes away for a while.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

• AKG K702 Headphones
• FiiO USB DAC-E10
• X470-i
• Latest driver is installed from MoBo website

does it only happen if the dacs charging ? thats what it sounds like to me have had the same before using amps whilst charging could also be an emi issue from the motherboard

I swapped usb ports and it seems to have resolved the issue.
