Weird issues with my newish build!

Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone could help me, I'm having some weird problems with my newish (approx 2 months old) build.

So, firstly it's been working totally fine until a couple of days ago, with no issues at all.

Now, whenever I power the PC on, I get no power to the USB (KB / Mouse) or display. and it doesn't seem to boot up.

I've tried a lot of troubleshooting steps, nothing has fixed it:

- Tried swapping the RAM out and only using 1 RAM slot
- Removed GFX card and tried using the onboard DVI.
- Checked all the leads / connectors, all seem just fine.
- I then thought it was the PSU...so got a new one, still the same problem.
- Leaving the battery out overnight to reset CMOS

I'm now wondering if I should dismantle the entire thing, but to me it feels like it might be the motherboard?

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I'd appreciate it!

Might be the motherboard but dismantle everything and try building it outside of the case (including reseating the CPU) with no drives/sound cards etc plugged in, only what it needs to enter BIOS.

List the specs.

Thanks for the reply.

Good idea - I've just dismantled it and rebuilt as basics outside of the case. Also reseated CPU. The exact same problem happens (no display / usb power) so I'm pretty sure the MB is at fault.

Any other ideas?

Specs are: MSI Z95 Gaming MB
GSKill RAM (also tried with crucial ballistix)
EVGA 750 psu (Also tried with a 750 Corsair)
MSI GTX 970
