Hey all,

Recently got a new keyboard - Enermax Aurora. It has pretty nice to use but recently it has started randomly stopping working. It is almost as if the USB stops powering the keyboard. I get no response from it unless I unplug it and put in another USB slot. This happens maybe 3/4 times a day and seems completely random. Spec as in sig. Could it be a problem with power going to the USB ports or is it more likely to be a keyboard problem? Not really sure what to try. The only other USB devices plugged into the slots are my mouse - logitech G9 which has been fine and my dock for my iphone which also has been fine.

being the idiot I am I have now found the source of the problem I think, by going into device manager I have found that the apple iphone dock draws 500mA from the USB hub and a USB hub is rated up to 500mA. Therefore if I plug the keyboard into the same hub it gets a bit annoyed. Next question is how can i tell which physical USB ports are parts of which USB hub?
