Weird lag on my IPS monitor.

I recently bought a LG IPS M2352D monitor and I realized there is an unusual lag.

I went to paint and coloured my background medium grey and I drew a rectangle black block. I moved the image around and my LG monitor left a white shade of colour behind.

I tried the same thing on my laptop and there were no white coloured lag.

I uploaded it on Youtube since It's quite hard to explain.

It looks like an overly aggressive pixel overdrive setting.

What graphics card do you have?

An AMD 6870. But it does it with everything I connect like PS3 and Sky HD

Yup, that's the evil effects of overdrive/overshoot - the only way LCDs obtain super low pixel response times. The level of overshoot will vary between different implementations of overdrive. LG from what I've read appears to be among the worst.

There is nothing you can do about it as there are no overdrive controls on those displays.
