Weird - Left Click opens a new window...

a friend of mines computer is acting really weird. whenever you left click on an icon in windows explorer a new window comes up for search :confused:

. Any ideas - Using Win Xp

Sorry my mistake - read it wrong. Its early, I havent had coffee - I read it as a new window opened when he left clicked....

Tools->Folder Options->General tab (first tab)->"Click items as follows" section->Ensure "Double-click to open an item" is ticked. Apply + OK.
