Hi,
This is possibly two sets of issues, that may be connected but I suspect they are not.

1 - If I have for example : facebook and youtube open (using chrome), there comes a time, often, that I cannot do any of the following :

Open any other task/app/program
Reboot/shutdown is unresponsive
Activate start menu
CTRL ALT DEL

I can create a new tab but then that is unresponsive.
I can continue to browse youtube/facebook as long as I use the tab already open with that session.

2 - I am also plagued with another graphic card issue that I don't know is related. After gaming, usually GTA5 but has been after other games too, opening any form of complex website (has java script/flash/whatever being used on it, I don't know how or why, or what but not on a basic page like google homepage) the monitor loses colour or signal altogether.
These issues existed in win10 and 11. They have happened with other browsers too, not specific to chrome.
I should be a little more clear in that I have had this issue since Windows 10, thru updates and into Windows 11 (including a fully fresh install) plus updates. No end of removing reinstalling chrome, nvidia driver updates. This has been going on for about 2 years but due to my health, I have only been able to spend certain times trying to resolve the issue.

GFX card is running standard temps pretty much. 38c idle to 80c under load, details taken from official card monitor software.

PSU has enough power (550w is more than the suggested 350w for the card and 500w for the system).

A reboot fully ends the issue UNTIL I game again and then flip a coin and it starts doing it, more often than not. As I say, it's not unique to chrome, edge and firefox suffer too but the symptoms seem to differ depending on the content viewed on the browser window.

Strangely and maybe meaning something... my monitor is a 50" (thru HDMI) tv and another thing that stops the issue of losing signal is if I make the browser window smaller to less than half the screen say.

I have somewhat gotten used to simply ending game by a forced reboot via reset button. I detest doing it, even though I have no spinning HD anymore.

The issue is annoying and sometimes inconvenient.
This time I had a blast on COD Black Ops II Zombies for half an hour until the football starts. Then opened a tab to find where the football is playing and realise I need to find something else out. Opened a new tab and bam, black screen for a moment. Came back. Typed something, gone again. Back again. So I video it.

Hopefully you can see this video. Please let me know. This is weird ! https://1drv.ms/v/s!Ao-z72tNNwPigbRE3Xx4bq5L_A14wA?e=sAq43T

I have no hardware to swap and no one to swap with that I would want to risk their hardware should this be a bigger problem than it seems.
Can you confirm, did you see the last video ? That a dialogue box on youtube can cause the monitor signal to be lost suggests quite a serious flaw.

Also, I have never looked at event viewer for this issue.
