I'm contemplating just getting a proper desktop but that's last resort.
Setup is a laptop outputting 144Hz video via thunderbolt > display port to a 144Hz monitor. I close the laptop lid and just use the monitor since 60Hz screen is just killing my eyes. This worked fine for about a year till recently while playing Overwatch, my monitor randomly goes off after playing for what seems like a random amount of time. I shake the mouse which brings the monitor back and then to a Windows 10 log in screen. Obviously I've been logged out of Overwatch but the game is still running. All browser tabs are still there. This never happens while using Windows normally.
Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? I've set all screensavers and power settings off that I could find. My only theory is me somehow running in Fullscreen mode with the game is tricking the PC into thinking I'm not using it or something after a predetermined period of time but I'll need to use a stop watch to see I guess
