weird mouse clicking problem

hello there i have a weird mouse problem

when i click once every now and then it does a double click even tho i didnt double click, it did it about 3 months ago for a week then give up, but i never found a way to fix it. theres nothing up with my mouse so i dont know why its doing this.

i have a razer diamondback and the latest 6.02 drivers

any help would be welcome

Have you got another machine to pinpoint if it's the mouse or software? I'd say it's a faulty microswitch in the mouse itself personally tho that's just a guess.

nope i dont have another pc hmmm.

i guess if it doesnt go away ill just get a new mouse see if it solvs it.

i've seen this happen a lot. its definitely a mouse issue.

the only time i had this sort of issue was when i managed to get coke under the button and it went all sticky, just took it apart cleaned it and off i went. I never heard of this before, is it very common in diamondbacks?

hmm, how would i take the mouse clicking buttons off?

Alltho i should think its clean as a whistle, i keep my hardware liturally polished like a old man with war medals

Edit: theres not actually a single screw on the whole mouse, its allmost as if its glued together lol.
