I've just done a clean reinstall of Win 7 Pro, applied all the windows updates and SP1. I've got this strange annoying little problem that I wasn't aware of prior. I'm using the Logitech Performance MX with the latest Setpoint software, (set to defaults). It's a bit difficult to explain. If you have a number of windows open, you can select one at a time. This basically clicks off the current window by itself. Like now, I'm typing this and it clicks off the current screen, meaning I have to physically click back on to it before I can continue typing. It's happening constantly. Even if I have just one thing open, it will 'click' off by itself. I can't understand what's causing it.

Gawd bit of a nightmare. Interestingly perhaps, I have Outlook 2010 installed. I've just logged out and will see if it's any better now.

Thing is, this new build has exactly the same software as the old one, but the old one never suffered this problem. Very odd!

I've been doing some research on this. It turns out there are a lot of others suffering the same fate. There's all sorts of remedies from removing software, disabling this and that, to not using pirated software. Lots of scare mongering basically.

Well I don't use the latter, but I *think* I have managed to find the conflict with mine. It appears to be related to the Bluetooth adapter which I recently installed. The Atheros Bluetooth suite for the Asus P8P67. I've switched the adapter off (rather than removing the sofware) and the problem has completely gone. It suggests that it was something to do with the bluetooth hunting for devices or something along those lines? But what I can't understand at all - I had the BT driver only installed before, and I didn't have a problem - so logically, this must be down to the suite? Does that make sense?
