Weird network issue...

I have this weird network issue where my network port is non functional. The network icon has an X on it every time i turn on my computer on from a complete shutdown.

To fix this issue I simply just restart my machine and it works as normal after it boots up.

Has anyone had a similar issue? how would i go about resolving this?

What motherboard is it? Or it's a dedicated network card?

Try ticking off "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Did you tried to install new/different drivers?

If that doesn't help Google "nvm update 82579" there used to be a bug with the Intel chipset.

Thanks, I haven't tried different drivers so i'll give that a shot.
