Basically trying to keep my Dad off my back by loading series onto his laptop. I don't have anything big enough in the form of USB so I'm basically just trying to transfer it over my network wireless, however whenever I try to transfer a file a few seconds into the transfer it'll cause my PC to crash.

Any ideas?

First thing I'd check is that the wireless drivers are up to date.

When you say crash, do you mean BSOD or does it just hang?

It just hangs.

Just to clarify, the files are on my PC, I want to send them wirelessly to the laptop (both connected via my netgear router) its the PC that's crashing as the transfer happens.

Edit: I've made a dummy file on the laptop and sent it to the PC and it still makes the PC crash that way around, odd!

Well fixed my own problem, wireless speed on the router was set to N speeds the laptop is obviously too crappy for that I guess, lowered it and no problemo.
