Hi All
Recently every couple of weeks just in a morning for the first 10 minutes of driving the front end of the car makes a rhythmic noise that gets faster as you accelerate and slows down when braking. I thought maybe this was the brakes but I don't see why it does it intermittently. The car is a 2011 Fiesta and has 5 month old tyres on the front (not flat). Now the brakes are at about 30000 miles so I am guessing its probably these that have gone but thought it best to check. They didn't pick up that the brakes were even worn on the MOT advisory back in September. I have noticed the brake discs also have a lip around the edge but I don't see why the noise only happens every couple of weeks. I was going to get new pads and discs when I get back off my holidays but does this seem like it could be the issue? Thanks guys.
