I have had a BFG 8800 OC2 64omb card and it has been awesome i have been using the current 158.22 drivers under xp sp2 and have been using riva tuner i had a max overclock on the card of 620/930.
However yesterday i downloaded the beta 162.xx drivers and installed them for some reason i thought i would OC my card and see if it could go higher, well after playing with 3DMark06 for a few hours i managed to get my card to 640/990 and it does many many loops of 3DMark06 and doe snot crash which it would have done at these clocks with the old drivers.
Is this normal could drivers do this, if so im happy just hope it's not short lived
