Weird OC problem...

I had a stable OC @ 3.6ghz on my system with the following settings:

9x400
1.48v core
NB default volts
ATI 5870

I upgraded to 6970 and my system became unstable

To make my system stable i moved down to 9x380 with 1.40v core. Now my system is prime stable for 24 hours.

I tried upping the volts on the CPU and NB but i still cant get my system stable on 3.6ghz. All i did was change the graphics card from a 5870 to 6970.

Any ideas?

Power draw perhaps??

Tried connecting the graphics card on two separate rails but still same issue plus i have a 1000w PSU so it cant be a power issue and also prime 95 does not stress the gpu so it shouldn't fail when i run it at 3.6ghz.
