A week or so ago i posted in a thread that i had some guest passes available for Red Orchestra 2. A chap called Omaeka sent me a trust message asking for and so i friended him Steam and sent him the pass. He seemed like a very nice chap and we have since spoken a few times via steam about various games and such.
Last night Steam popped up with a message from someone called Dusupreme Escobar Aloplop written in some weird language i didn't recognise. Thinking 'wtf, who is this guy and how is sending me chat messages?' i just ignored him and then clicked to see his profile. Below is what i got...
I'll be the first to admit that i'm no Steam expert but it strikes me as quite bizarre someone would change from a normal English speaking guy to an apparently South African person (it was Azerbaijan yesterday) trying to talk to me in a language that looked more Scandinavian.
How likely is it that Omaeka's account has been hijacked?
