Hi all,
I've got a strange problem with my onboard lan connection. I amusing the following:
Asus P5QL Pro motherboard
E8400
4GB Ram
GTX260
2 x 360GB Samsung HDDs
750W Corsair PSU
The Problem
When ever I try to download a file from the net the port / connection drops for half a second and then comes back causing the download to stop.
The connection works fine if transfering files to / from my media server on the same network, but anything from the net and it kills it.
I've tried just plugging in the least amount of kit, checked all BIOS settings and everything seems fine. I've tried new network cables and different router ports. I've reset the router. I've checked the network port for damage. I've reinstall the OS. Still doesnt work.
Has anyone got any ideas? I'm leaning towards a hardware fault becuase if it had been software the format should have cleared that.
Regards
